The Plot Thickens
In a World of Monsters
Amanda Waller intended on using the worst of the worst to do some good in the world. So she recruited the baddest of the bad. Deadshot. El Diablo. Killer Croc. Enchantress. Captain Boomerang. Harley Quinn. They were going to be her task force in protecting the world from the rest of the baddies. A new age. Except it didn't go exactly to plan. Enchantress escaped Waller's carefully crafted leash. The ancient being nearly destroyed the world in her attempt to wipe out the humans, but the unlikely group managed to stop her last minute, though not without the loss of Diablo.
Not that it changed anything, as Waller threw them back into their prisons and intended to keep them all there. Her own personal hit squad tucked carefully under lock and key. Except Harley Quinn escaped, aided by the Joker. Now she's lost a critical part of her squad, and the duo's come back to Gotham in full force.
King & Queen of Gotham
They're back on top, and everyone knows it. The streets aren't safe, they never were, but with Harley Quinn and the Joker reunited, new extremes have been reached. Destructive in the worst ways, the King and Queen of Gotham have proved that they are a very bad problem. Amanda Waller's good at solving bad problems though, and she thinks that she's got the best solution. So she's brought her little puppets out from their holes and has re-instituted the Suicide Squad with a few more additions. This time, their target is Harley Quinn and the Joker. Bring them in, Waller said, alive or dead.
We're a Suicide Squad
This isn't just a unknown threat that the Squad is going up against, it's one of their own. However, they have little choice from the manipulative Waller. While they've got their temporary freedom, it won't last and the price for it is steep. The Suicide Squad isn't the only one on a mission though, as Batman and a few friends have shown up again to help in the round up of one of his worst enemies. The plan's simple, take 'em out. Then again, nothing ever really goes to plan in Gotham City.
